ECF - Aluminum Rack & Pinion Actuator
  • Double rack and pinion construction
  • Output torque from 1 Nm to 5000 Nm
  • End-of stoke can be adjusted by + 10° / -5°
  • ISO 5211 mounting pad (2 per actuator)
  • Double acting is easily converted to single acting  (by adding springs)
  • Optimum torque can be selected because of wide variety of springs
  • Springs epoxy coated for optimum corrosion protection
  • The pinion is supported on a large area of polyacetal bearings
  • Piston and rack supported on 3 points on high performance bearings

SSF - Stainless Steel Rack & Pinion Actuator
  • As ECF, however, fully stainless steel

  • Extended temperature range: -40°C -/- + 110°C

ROTEX actuators are engineered to provide the longest possible service life. The optional exclusive ROTEX V-Seal polymer double lip seal offers the most efficient, dynamic sealing in the industry. The smooth inner surface of the actuator results in less friction. Massive bearings with greater surface area allow for higher load capacity. Monolithic billet pinion provides for incredible strength and durability. The hard-anodized aluminum body gives first class corrosion protection. For alkali and marine environments epoxy coating can be provided as an extra.
